Bgs Security ordered to pay security officer €4,964.80 over unpaid wages

The Workplace Relations Commission directed Bgs Security Limited to pay Ikenna Uzokwe €4,964.80 in compensation, less lawful deductions, after finding that wages shown on his June and July 2024 payslips had not been paid. The decision was dated 13 January 2025. Uzokwe said the payslips reflected the hours he worked. Bgs Security did not attend the hearing, but the adjudication officer was satisfied it had notice. The officer accepted Uzokwe’s evidence and found the wages were properly payable.
