The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Eanna Larkin’s complaint that Premier Service Station Ltd. failed to inform her of a transfer of undertakings, finding that the share sale did not change her employer. The decision was dated 17 December 2024. Larkin said she learned of the ownership change from a colleague while abroad and later received a proposed contract that omitted her hours and pay. The company said its legal entity and employer identity remained unchanged after Oldhal Limited bought its shares. The WRC found no transfer of undertakings and declared the complaint not well founded.
