The Workplace Relations Commission has ordered PfP Fire Systems PfP Ireland to pay Ivica Parlov €1,075 after finding the company unlawfully reduced his hourly wage. The decision was dated 18 November 2024. Parlov said his rate was cut by €2.50, from €19.50 to €17, without his agreement. The company said his contract allowed pay to reflect productivity and that the reduction followed poor performance. Adjudication officer Shay Henry found the sectoral employment orders did not allow the reduction and that disciplinary process and due process had not been followed.
