The Workplace Relations Commission ordered the Board of Management of Our Lady of Good Counsel Infant National School to pay teacher Oleksandra Dudurych €2,700 after upholding complaints about missing written employment terms. Adjudication Officer Catherine Byrne dated the decision 9 December 2024.

The school accepted it had not given Dudurych a written statement of her terms. The WRC found it also failed to notify her in writing when her terms changed, leaving her unable to understand the change from a one-year fixed-term offer to term-to-term employment.

The WRC rejected five other complaints, including claims about fixed-term work, wages and holidays. It found that several wage and holiday complaints had been brought against the wrong respondent and were dealt with in separate cases against the Department of Education.
