The Workplace Relations Commission found a wage complaint by former accounts assistant Stephen Travers was not well-founded. Travers had claimed €15,480.84 for work he said he did for a second company in his employer’s group. The WRC decision was dated 27 January 2026. Rma Hire Services ltd N7 Commercial Centers said Travers worked his normal hours and received all wages due under his contract. The adjudicator found he was employed by Rma Hire Services ltd N7 Commercial Centers, had no contract with the other group company and had received all wages payable by his employer. The Payment of Wages Act covers sums payable by an employer in connection with employment; the adjudicator found no wage deduction by this respondent. No award was recorded.
