WRC rules two complaints against training centre out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) ruled two complaints by Christine O Brien against Blackpool/Glen/Farranree Community Training Centre Training Center out of time, leaving it without jurisdiction to decide them. The decision was dated 22 May 2025. O Brien alleged constructive dismissal and penalisation after raising work-permit concerns and reporting bullying and harassment. The centre argued the matters were statute barred. The adjudication officer found no evidence of dismissal or resignation; the Employment Permits Act complaint was also found misconceived. Neither complaint was decided on its merits, and no award was recorded.
