The Workplace Relations Commission has ordered The Food Point Limited to pay Frederico Madureira €2,768.77 for unpaid November salary and accrued annual leave. Adjudication officer Ewa Sobanska dated the decision 7 February 2025. The WRC also upheld his complaint that he received no compensation for Sunday work, awarding €403.20 gross for financial loss and €500 for breach of statutory rights. It found no jurisdiction over his minimum-wage complaint because he had not requested an average hourly rate statement; this was not a substantive ruling on alleged underpayment. His claim for payment in lieu of notice was rejected because he had not worked the 13 weeks required for statutory minimum notice.
