The Workplace Relations Commission awarded John Rigney €1,500 after finding Lentech Services Limited had not provided all required information about his employment terms. The decision was dated 5 March 2025. Rigney also claimed that construction sector rates, overtime and pension contributions were due because of his work, and that €150 remained unpaid for a teleporter training course. Lentech said its main business was quarry machinery maintenance and fabrication, and that Rigney had agreed to pay for the optional course. The officer found Lentech was not a building or civil engineering firm covered by the sectoral order, and that the course deduction was authorised. Those complaints were not well founded.
