The Workplace Relations Commission found Wayne Russell’s complaint against Gorey Ce Scheme Clg well founded and directed the organisation to pay appropriate statutory redundancy for his employment from 29 November 1999 to 27 October 2023. The decision was dated 2 April 2025. Russell said his employment ended by reason of redundancy and that he had received no payment. The scheme said it lacked sufficient assets to pay and did not oppose the application.
