The Workplace Relations Commission dismissed two complaints by Muhammad Nadeem Hashmi against Real Spice after he failed to attend the hearing. In a decision dated 25 April 2025, adjudication officer Brian Dalton found the minimum-notice complaint not well founded and that Hashmi had not been discriminated against on age grounds. Hashmi had alleged age discrimination, saying he and another employee were dismissed while older staff were retained, and said he was told not to return without notice. Real Spice produced records and rebutted the allegations. No monetary award was recorded.
