Killian Yule was awarded €420 for unpaid tiling work after Lar Kelly trading as Lk Tiling failed to attend a hearing. The Workplace Relations Commission found Yule’s Payment of Wages Act complaint well founded and, in a decision dated 27 May 2024, ordered payment of €420 in outstanding wages. Yule told the adjudication officer that he had worked four days and three hours for the respondent from 29 January to 6 February 2024 and was owed €420. The officer was satisfied that the respondent had notice of the hearing and decided the complaint on Yule’s uncontested evidence.
