WRC orders Hoxha Foods to pay worker €2,900 in wages

The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Hoxha Foods Limited to pay Ibrahim Daheb €2,900 in unpaid wages and €1,000 compensation for failing to provide written employment terms. The decision was dated 28 May 2024. Daheb said he worked as a security guard and was not paid for completed shifts. He also said he signed a contract but never received written terms. Hoxha Foods did not engage with the WRC or attend the hearing. The WRC upheld both claims based on the evidence presented. Two duplicate claims against Hoxha Foods were withdrawn at the start of the hearing.
