The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Layer Digital Solutions Ltd to pay Shalika Ramadas €11,010.97 for unpaid wages and notice entitlements. The decision was dated 2 September 2024. Ramadas said she was owed two months’ salary and a further month’s salary in lieu of notice after her employment ended with immediate effect. The employer did not attend the reconvened hearing. The WRC considered the complaint on the evidence before it and found it well founded.
