The Workplace Relations Commission found Yingqi Song’s wage complaint against Cohen & Co. Chartered Accountants Limited not well founded. The decision was dated 11 March 2024. Song said wages, unused annual leave and notice pay were delayed, and alleged the delays were linked to her involvement with a trade union. At the hearing, Song confirmed that all sums due under the Payment of Wages Act had been paid. The adjudicator found the gross amounts due had been paid and that the deductions were not illegal or malicious. The complaint was dismissed.
