WRC rejects Joanne Seery’s complaints against Tom Brunkard

The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Joanne Seery’s employment-terms, discrimination and part-time-work complaints against Tom Brunkard. The decision was dated 9 January 2025. Seery alleged she lacked written terms for additional hours and was treated less favourably as a part-time worker after a creche closure interrupted those hours. She also alleged civil-status discrimination and victimisation. The adjudicator found the Fountain Resource Group was her employer, not Brunkard, and that written terms had been issued. The equality complaint was dismissed for lack of evidence; the other complaints were found not well founded. No award was recorded.
