The Workplace Relations Commission rejected Yuqing Yang’s race discrimination complaint against QuantumClean Global Technologies Ireland Limited. Adjudication Officer John Harraghy found the evidence insufficient to establish facts supporting an inference of discrimination. Yang said her manager made comments about her being in the wrong country and that she was treated unfairly in her employment conditions. The company denied this, saying the manager referred to the wrong company, and said meetings with Yang addressed concerns about attendance and her response to management. The decision was dated 5 April 2024. Yang worked as a Process Engineer and was paid €4,281.25 gross per month. The WRC found the complaint was not well founded.
