The Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) dismissed Dara Deasy’s race discrimination and harassment complaints against Princes Investments Limited T/A Brandon Hotel. The decision was dated 10 April 2024. Deasy said the hotel’s general manager questioned his Chinese origin and referred to him as a “Chinese expert”. The hotel denied the claims. The WRC found the alleged racial remarks were not established and that Deasy was not discriminated against or harassed on grounds of race.
