The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Revenue Commissioners Corporate Service Division to pay Gaurav Arora €1,122.08 after finding that his written conditions of assignment omitted the notice period required to end his employment contract. Adjudication officer Davnet O'Driscoll’s decision was dated 3 December 2024. Arora’s separate complaint under the Minimum Notice and Terms of Employment Act failed because he remained employed by the respondent. The respondent said Arora was still an Executive Officer when he applied for a non-shift role and that notice was required before he could revert to Clerical Officer grade.
