The Workplace Relations Commission found it had no jurisdiction to hear David Juhasz’s complaint alleging discrimination by association with a member of the Traveller community, after deciding he had named an employee rather than the legally responsible service provider. Adjudication Officer Christina Ryan dated the decision 5 December 2024. Juhasz maintained that he had named the correct respondent and did not seek to amend the name. The respondent’s representative said the hotel’s operating legal entity was responsible and consented to an amendment if requested. The WRC recorded no award.
