The WRC found Teresa Tyler’s complaints against the Legal Aid Board were not well founded in a decision dated 5 December 2024. Tyler had complained under the Payment of Wages Act and the Employment Equality Act. The adjudicator said she had notice of the hearing but did not attend or present evidence. Her postponement request, based on work commitments, and appeal of its refusal were both refused. The Legal Aid Board attended and submitted that she had not requested annual leave for the hearing.
