The Workplace Relations Commission ordered Metron Stores Limited t/a Iceland (in liquidation) to pay Catherine O'Driscoll €541 gross for unpaid accrued annual leave and €690 compensation for breach of her statutory rights. Adjudication Officer Elizabeth Spelman found the complaint well founded in a decision dated 21 May 2025. O'Driscoll said she was owed payment for leave accrued when her employment ended. The WRC calculated approximately 47 hours outstanding, taking account of leave from the previous and current leave years. The company did not attend the hearing; the officer found it had notice.
