The Workplace Relations Commission found Umair Qurban’s complaint against Securway At Risk Security Group Limited was not well founded. Adjudication Officer Andrew Heavey dated the decision 17 December 2025. Qurban said he was dismissed after raising concerns about discriminatory treatment and workplace practices. Securway said it dismissed him for gross misconduct after a critical email to its client. The adjudicator found the evidence did not establish discrimination or dismissal for opposing discrimination, and said the email concerned operational dissatisfaction.
