The Workplace Relations Commission upheld Sebastian Drygalski’s redundancy claim, subject to insurable employment, and ordered Mbc Products (Ireland) Limited to pay €112 for one unpaid public holiday, a further €125 in compensation, and €1,120 gross in statutory notice pay. The decision was dated 21 July 2025. Drygalski said he was laid off and received no response when he sought redundancy, and that a public holiday and two weeks’ notice pay remained unpaid. The company did not appear. The officer also rejected Drygalski’s unfair-dismissal complaint, his claim for a higher pay rate and his annual-leave complaint.
