The Workplace Relations Commission upheld four complaints by James Ryan against Earthworks Profiling Limited, including ordering €4,704 in pay in lieu of notice. The decision was dated 5 April 2024. The WRC also found Ryan entitled to a redundancy lump sum, based on his start date of 1 August 2006, termination date of 5 December 2022 and gross weekly pay of €588, subject to his employment being insurable for all purposes under social welfare legislation. Earthworks Profiling Limited did not attend the hearing. Ryan had worked as a machine driver and said he was not paid his accrued annual leave or minimum notice.
