WRC rules six complaints by Mihai Vlad Vizitiu were out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found six complaints by Mihai Vlad Vizitiu against Darvari Mechanical Engineering Limited were outside the time limit. The decision, dated 7 May 2024, said the merits were not decided. Vizitiu was hired in Romania in April 2022 and worked in Ireland before resigning in August that year. He filed complaints about employment information, industrial relations, wages and working time in March 2023. His representative asked for an extension, but the adjudication officer found that the explanation for the delay did not justify one, noting Romanian authorities had clarified their position in September 2022. The respondent did not attend the hearing.
