The WRC rejected Conor Seery’s unfair dismissal complaint against Gas Networks Ireland Ltd, finding it not well founded. Adjudication Officer Jim Dolan dated the decision 9 September 2025.
The case concerned €3,000 in One4All vouchers. Seery admitted procuring them and using the proceeds to pay a €1,500 personal debt. Gas Networks Ireland argued that his conduct justified dismissal and that its investigation, disciplinary process and appeal were fair. The officer said he could not disagree with the disciplinary decision-maker’s reasoning about the conduct and loss of trust. No award was recorded.
