WRC rejects five complaints against Grant Engineering

The Workplace Relations Commission upheld none of five complaints by Wojciech Szabelski against Grant Engineering (Ireland) Unlimited Company, finding no basis for claims of penalisation, victimisation or discrimination. No compensation was awarded in the decision, which is dated 9 September 2025. Szabelski alleged adverse treatment after raising workplace grievances and bringing earlier WRC proceedings. The company denied wrongdoing and disputed that he had established facts supporting his claims. The adjudicator found no evidence linking the alleged treatment to earlier proceedings, no evidence of a health and safety complaint or protected disclosure, and insufficient evidence to establish discrimination.
