The Workplace Relations Commission found Caroline Murphy’s redundancy payment complaint against Franklin Coffee House Ltd t/a Milestone Coffee House not well founded after neither side attended the hearing on 3 October 2023. The complaint failed for lack of prosecution. The decision was dated 17 November 2023. Murphy had attended an earlier hearing on 29 August, but the respondent did not attend and the hearing was postponed because of short notice. Neither Murphy nor the respondent attended the reconvened hearing to consider her claim.
