Wayne Greene’s unfair dismissal complaint against Panda was not well founded

A WRC Adjudication Officer found Wayne Greene’s unfair dismissal complaint against Panda was not well founded after neither side attended the hearing. The decision, dated 14 March 2024, says the officer was satisfied Greene had been notified. Greene said Panda told him it was ceasing trading and that he would have to re-interview for his Sales Manager role. He said he was unsuccessful, was told he would receive one month’s notice and asked to return to a sales agent role. He said he was told those roles were only available in Slane, although he had worked in Ballymount.
