The Workplace Relations Commission found a constructive dismissal complaint against University College Cork was not well founded, after deciding the complainant had not used available grievance steps, including mediation. Eileen Leonard said workplace treatment and an inadequate grievance process left her no option but to resign. UCC said it addressed her grievance, offered mediation and support, and considered options after she sought redundancy. The WRC decision was dated 1 March 2024.
