WRC declines to investigate John Ring’s wage complaint as out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission has declined to investigate John Ring’s Payment of Wages complaint against Sean and Aisling Developments Ltd Oakfield Construction in Liquidation Liquidator Grant Thornton. The decision was dated 25 March 2024. Ring, who worked as a Contracts Manager, claimed about €12,958 in unpaid wages, pension contributions and expenses. The WRC found the complaint was received outside the six-month time limit and that Ring had not shown reasonable cause for the delay. The complaint was out of time, so the merits were not decided.
