WRC rules Jaco Albuquerque’s 30 complaints against Kepak out of time

The Workplace Relations Commission found all 30 complaints brought by Jaco Albuquerque against Kepak Limited were out of time and statute-barred in a decision dated 10 February 2026. No award was recorded. Albuquerque said he had worked for the company from 2016 to 2021 and sought adjudication over issues including wages, working time, equality, dismissal, redundancy and minimum notice. Kepak argued the complaints were referred outside the statutory six-month period. Albuquerque said he had not known the time limit; the adjudication officer found that did not justify an extension. The complaints were not decided on their merits.
