WRC finds Shauna Gartland’s payment of wages complaint not well founded

The WRC found Shauna Gartland’s payment of wages complaint against Concentrix was not well founded after she did not attend the hearing. The decision was dated 15 February 2023. Gartland said deductions for sick leave days had been taken from her final pay without her knowledge. Concentrix said it had notified her of the deductions and explained that leave taken after the monthly salary cut-off was deducted the following month. The complaint was found not well founded after she did not attend; the merits were not decided.
