The Workplace Relations Commission found Laurence Farrell’s Payment of Wages complaint against Meath County Council not well founded. Adjudication Officer Maria Kelly dated the decision 26 September 2025. Farrell, a retained firefighter, claimed €41.66 for two hours attending a meeting with an independent facilitator after raising a bullying complaint. The Council argued the claim was out of time; the officer found it was within time. The Council had paid the claimed amount before the hearing, so the officer found no wages remained unpaid.
