The Workplace Relations Commission found John Graham’s complaint against Aer Lingus not well founded. Graham said he was owed additional incentive pay under an enhanced career break arrangement. Graham received €3,139.63 and believed about €7,000 more was due. Aer Lingus said the incentive was a single payment equal to 10% of basic salary, rather than 10% for each year of the career break. The adjudication officer found no basis to interpret the agreement as entitling Graham to 10% of his salary for the full three-year break. The decision was dated 7 February 2024.
