The Workplace Relations Commission found three complaints by Priscilla Mudehwe against Matheson Support Services not well founded in a decision dated 29 November 2023. Mudehwe said she was excluded from hybrid working and progression opportunities as a part-time employee, and that changes to her duties were not notified in writing. The adjudicator found a full-time employee doing the same postal duties was treated the same way, and that additional tasks Mudehwe performed were ad hoc rather than an ongoing change to her contract. She also alleged race discrimination over promotion and training. The adjudicator found no evidence that the alleged difference in treatment was based on race and ruled that she was not discriminated against.
