The WRC found that Eden Home Care Ltd. did not breach the Payment of Wages Act in its dispute with cleaner Letícia Lerner Do Nascimento. The decision, dated 12 January 2023, said she had been paid for all hours worked. Ms Lerner Do Nascimento said she was owed €220 gross for work before she resigned. The company did not attend the hearing. The adjudication officer found that a €114.40 cheque she received was the net amount due after emergency tax of €88 and USC of €17.60 were deducted from the gross wages.
