The Workplace Relations Commission found Pawel Janas's complaint about written notice of changes to his job not well founded. It also found it had no jurisdiction over his complaint about a promised pay increase because it was referred outside the six-month time limit; the merits of that pay complaint were not decided. The decision was dated 31 March 2023. Janas said his duties changed without his agreement and that a pay rise promised in June 2021 was not paid. The Butler's Pantry Holdings Limited said it had notified him in writing about the role changes and denied promising the earlier increase. The WRC found the company had given written notice of the changes to his duties.
