WRC rejects two employment terms complaints against Oic Cleaning

The Workplace Relations Commission found two complaints by Kathleen Heaven against Oic Cleaning Ltd not well founded in a decision dated 4 January 2023. Heaven said she had received neither the core terms of her employment nor the longer statement of employment terms. The company said it issued the required statement when she started work and that she signed it. The adjudication officer accepted the company’s evidence that the statutory statement had been given. The decision records that Heaven did not dispute this when it was raised. The complaints were brought under the Terms of Employment (Information) Act 1994.
