The Workplace Relations Commission found that Tomasz Pysz was not discriminated against on disability grounds by McDonalds' Restaurants of Ireland. The decision was dated 3 April 2023. Pysz said the restaurant restricted him from indoor service because he was unvaccinated and offered to serve him outdoors in the rain. The respondent did not attend the hearing. The WRC found that being unvaccinated did not meet the statutory definition of disability, and that Pysz had not established a prima facie case of discrimination.
