The Workplace Relations Commission directed Securitas Security Services Ireland Ltd. to pay Frank Nyhan €74.57 for shortfalls in public holiday pay. The decision was dated 18 January 2023. Nyhan also challenged how his annual leave was calculated. The award covered shortfalls of €59.42 for the June 2021 public holiday and €15.15 for the August holiday. The WRC found his May holiday claim was out of time and his annual leave was correctly calculated using hours worked; the site premium was not included in that calculation.
