The Workplace Relations Commission found that HSE paramedic Damien O’Connor’s three complaints about his employment terms, parental leave arrangements and health and safety concerns were not well-founded. The decision was dated 13 January 2023. The WRC found that his contract met the requirements on work location, accepted that pandemic pressures explained the review of parental leave arrangements, and found no penalisation over the health and safety complaint.
