The Workplace Relations Commission found Hugh Carvill’s two original unfair dismissal complaints against Northern Trust Management Services (Ireland) Limited not well founded after he did not attend the hearing. The merits were not decided. WRC Adjudication Officer Joe Donnelly dated the decision 7 January 2022. Carvill alleged that he was unfairly dismissed without proper procedures and said his employer’s actions forced him to leave. The company said he resigned voluntarily after obtaining another job. Six further complaints were identified as duplicate copies submitted in error.
