The Workplace Relations Commission found three of Francis Hore’s complaints against Flavour Manufacturing Wexford - Coca Cola European Refreshments not well founded. Hore withdrew a fourth complaint under the Industrial Relations Act at the hearing. The decision was dated 10 December 2021. Hore had worked on a fixed-term contract from January 2019, later extended to June 2020. He said he was denied the chance to finish the contract after an unsuccessful application for a permanent position. The company said he chose to leave after the interview and was paid through the end of his contract. The adjudication officer preferred the manager’s account that Hore raised the difficulty of returning after the interview. The WRC found no dismissal by the company. His unfair dismissal, minimum notice and fixed-term work complaints were not well founded; the Industrial Relations complaint was withdrawn.
