The Workplace Relations Commission awarded Anselm Ssebuguzi €590.80 after finding his Payment of Wages complaint against Bluebell Horizons Limited trading as Monastery Inn well founded. The decision was dated 3 February 2022. Ssebuguzi said he worked through 1 December 2019 and had not been paid for all his hours. The company said he worked only three days and had been paid for all hours worked. The adjudicator preferred Ssebuguzi's evidence and found he worked 101 hours. The adjudicator calculated that €870.80 was due in wages and accrued annual leave, including €79 for leave, and deducted a €280 payment already made. The remaining €590.80 was ordered as compensation.
