The Workplace Relations Commission ordered a transport company to pay a courier €1,140 in unpaid wages after accepting his uncontroverted evidence. Adjudication Officer Patsy Doyle dated the decision 27 April 2018. The courier said he worked for the company for two weeks in July 2017, received €370 and was still owed wages and commission. The company did not attend the hearing or submit a response. The WRC accepted documentary evidence confirming a continuous two-week period of employment and found the claim well founded.
