A security officer won €2,000 compensation after the WRC found the company’s annual leave pay calculation breached working-time rules. The decision was dated 6 July 2017. The company had calculated leave pay using basic hours only, excluding regular night and Sunday allowances. The Payment of Wages Act complaint was withdrawn. The WRC also found the employment regulation order complaint not well founded because the officer provided no evidence of a breach.
