The Workplace Relations Commission found that a chef was entitled to statutory redundancy pay after the employer confirmed it had not been paid. The decision was dated 6 July 2017. The worker’s employment ended by reason of redundancy on 28 August 2015. The WRC directed the catering company to pay the statutory entitlement within 42 days.
