The WRC directed a software company to pay a software developer €1,000 in outstanding net wages after finding the Payment of Wages complaint well founded. Adjudication Officer Michael McEntee dated the decision 2 May 2017. The developer said he left the company on 16 May 2016 with €3,300 outstanding. The company did not attend the hearing or provide a submission. The WRC said tax and payment records showed €1,000 net pay remained due and directed payment of that sum, or the grossed-up equivalent needed for statutory deductions.
