The WRC awarded a marketing manager €1,200 after finding that her employer unlawfully deducted bonus pay from her final wages. The decision was dated 18 May 2017. The manager said she left the telecommunications company in spring 2016 and was due final pay and a P45. She alleged that it withheld an earned bonus and clawed back part of an earlier bonus through her final wages. The company did not attend the hearing. The adjudicator considered the manager’s documents and evidence, found both deductions unlawful and upheld her complaint.
